Peptide questions
The questions usually turn on a missing noun: which fat, whose recovery, what kind of growth?
Ipamorelin fat loss
The human studies here have not established that outcome. The bowel-resection trial missed its primary endpoint, and the healthy-volunteer study measured drug handling and growth hormone release. The ferret chemotherapy study concerned retaining weight. A human abdominal-fat claim remains beyond the evidence available to me.
What is CJC hormone?
CJC usually refers here to CJC-1295, an engineered analog of growth hormone releasing hormone. It prompts the pituitary to release growth hormone. The long-acting DAC version binds albumin and has an estimated half-life of 5.8 to 8.1 days in healthy adults. Modified GRF 1-29, often called no-DAC, lacks that albumin-binding modification and is short-acting.
Sleep claims
Sleep improvement is prominent in community descriptions of ipamorelin and CJC-1295, alongside recovery and appearance claims. These are unverified anecdotes, not clinical evidence. The controlled studies on these pages did not test those sleep claims. Sleep is an appealing ambition; the measurement of growth hormone pulsatility is still a different outcome from a measurement of sleep quality.
What does tesamorelin change?
In five pooled trials in HIV-associated lipodystrophy, visceral fat, trunk fat and hepatic fat fraction decreased while lean body mass increased. The U.S. approval concerns excess abdominal fat in adults with HIV-associated lipodystrophy. Visceral fat reaccumulated after treatment stopped. The population and the return of fat are central to the answer.
Are these anabolic steroids?
They are peptides acting through the ghrelin or GHRH receptor to stimulate growth hormone secretion. Anabolic-androgenic steroids belong to a different chemical and receptor class and are controlled substances. steroidnpeptides offers no steroid-use comparisons, regimens or combinations, and presents none of these peptides as a substitute for anabolic steroids.
Sporting status
Ipamorelin, CJC-1295 and tesamorelin are prohibited at all times under WADA category S2, including outside competition. CJC-1295 has been identified in a seized preparation by high-resolution mass spectrometry. Prohibition supplies a regulatory answer; health effects and performance benefits need their own studies.
Dosing questions
No. The experiments describe exposures in specific populations under study conditions. There is no personal dosing guidance here, and community routines cannot supply the missing controlled trials. Medical decisions need an assessment by a licensed clinician who knows the person's health.
Safety follow-up deserves more patience than my appetite for an answer. The ipamorelin, CJC-1295 and tesamorelin pages set out the actual safety observations and the unresolved concerns.
